This year, 26 outstanding professionals were nominated by their state or regional chapters for this national honor. To be eligible, each nominee was first recognized at the chapter level as a Communicator of the Year or equivalent.
Propelled by strategic guidance of the Executive Board and the dedication of its staff, the National School Public Relations Association made significant strides forward in 2023-24.

Announced at the 2024 National Seminar, NSPRA's Emerging Leaders Award annually recognizes up to seven individuals who have no more than five years of experience working in school communications for demonstrating excellence and leadership in their work.
Offered in partnership with AASA, The School Superintendents Association, the program is designed exclusively for school PR professionals and their superintendents.
