Today the National School Public Relations Association is pleased to recognize the inaugural School Communicators Day. Last July, the NSPRA Executive Board unanimously voted to officially recognize School Communicators Day on the second Friday in May beginning in 2022.
Redesign the district logo.
Update the district’s tagline to focus on student success and excellence, rather than the excellence of GCPS schools.
Evaluate, refine as needed and promote TSD’s value proposition and brand.
Incorporate marketing components into the website.
Highlight the successes of TSD students and staff with a points of pride campaign.
Define LBUSD’s desired brand.
Highlight the successes of Long Beach students with “Points of Pride” campaigns.
Enhance branding with micro-campaigns.
Build a solid outreach program to real estate agents.
Add a marketing emphasis to the onboarding process for families new to LBUSD.
Evaluate first impressions of LBUSD campuses and programs.
