NSPRA chapter presidents, presidents-elect and executive directors will come together for two days of professional development tailored for these chapter leaders during the 2027 Presidents Summit on Feb. 5-6 in Fort Worth, Texas. Hosted by the NSPRA president, the event will provide the best in learning and networking with other chapter leaders who face similar challenges and successes.

Registration details for the 2027 event will be posted and shared with chapter leaders later this fall.

Highlights of the Presidents Summit program include:

  • Roundtable role-alike conversations among presidents, presidents-elect and executive directors as well as chapter-alike conversations based on membership size.
  • Idea spark sessions for chapter leaders to share their successful strategies for governance, operations and member engagement.
  • Chapter case study presentations and panel discussions on chapter leadership topics.

Costs and Sponsored Benefits

2023 Presidents Summit AttendeesWith the generous support of event sponsors, Presidents Summit registration is FREE for chapter presidents, presidents-elect and executive directors. For those officers, the following expenses are also covered by NSPRA:

  • Three nights hotel rooms (Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights)
  • Breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday and at least one dinner activity

Chapters are responsible for covering their officers' travel to the Presidents Summit and incidentals.

The Presidents Summit schedule is in development and will be released this winter.

Registration and Hotel

Chapter presidents, presidents-elect and executive directors:

  1. Register yourself for the Presidents Summit FIRST, once registration opens (anticipated in late fall 2026).
  2. Then reserve your hotel room within NSPRA's room block for the Presidents Summit, once the block opens (anticipated in late fall 2026). A credit card may be requested for the booking and at check-in for incidentals, but NSPRA covers the nightly room fee.

Chapters are responsible for covering their officers' travel costs. Plan to arrive in Fort Worth, Texas, on Thursday, Feb. 4, and to depart on Sunday, Feb. 7. 

If neither a chapter's president, president-elect nor executive director can attend, a chapter may identify one (1) alternate chapter officer to attend and represent the chapter at the Presidents Summit. Please contact NSPRA staff at clewallen@nspra.org to request an alternate attendee.
