Do I need to wait to register for the Seminar if I applied to present a session or applied for a Seminar scholarship?
No, you do not need to wait. If you’ve applied to be a speaker or for a scholarship, there’s no need to wait to register for the Seminar as required in previous years. Register as soon as registration opens to take advantage of Early Bird rates or whenever you are ready. What food and beverages are served during the Seminar?
What does Guest Registration include, and why is there a fee?
Full-Seminar Guest Registration ($150) is available for family members or other guests who are not participating in professional sessions but who want to attend select communal and celebratory events with a registered attendee. It includes access to:
Sunday’s Annual Meeting and Celebration of Achievement
Sunday’s Opening Reception
The Seminar Marketplace
Continental breakfasts on Monday and Tuesday
Sunday-Only Guest Registration ($110) includes access to Sunday’s Annual Meeting and Celebration of Achievement and Opening Reception events.
The fee reflects a portion of the actual per-person costs for food, venue and audio-visual services associated with these events. Guest fees are part of NSPRA’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality conferences in a financially sustainable and equitable way.
Are any complimentary passes available?
Yes, complimentary passes are provided in the following specific instances:
Can I have a guest drop into Monday's General Session during the School Communicator of the Year award presentation, then leave before the keynote speaker?
We understand that friends and family may want to be present to see someone they know recognized during the School Communicator of the Year (SCOY) chapter winner presentation. While SCOY finalists are welcome to bring a guest as part of their recognition (see above), we’re unfortunately not able to accommodate additional guests or guests of non-finalists in the General Session. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone and meet required security protocols, only registered Seminar participants with badges may attend. Thank you for your understanding!
What is the dress code for the Seminar?
Most attendees wear business casual attire during the Seminar, but there is no formal dress code.
How do I let NSPRA know if I need special accommodations for a physical disability?
Please contact the Seminar Manager, Colleen Lewallen, CMP, at clewallen@nspra.org.
