Congratulations to Anita Murphy, district superintendent of Capital Region BOCES, who has been selected as the recipient of NSPRA's 2022 Bob Grossman Leadership in School Communications Award! 

The National School Public Relations Association's Gold Medallion Awards program is the only national awards competition that recognizes superior educational public relations programs and campaigns grounded in strategic communication best practices. 

Four candidates are running uncontested for the Executive Boards positions that are up for election in 2022.

Professional-level association members were invited to cast their votes on proposed bylaws changes from May 6-27. Following the closing of the ballot, the NSPRA Teller Committee has certified the results showing that all proposed bylaws changes have passed.

As we continue to reflect on and process the incredibly tragic and senseless school shooting that left 21 people dead at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, earlier this week, a stoic truth remains: As school communicators, we know this could happen in any of our communities.
