Celebrate Public Schools Week Feb. 26 - March 1

Each year, district leaders, specialists, teacher educators, parents and school board members come together with the Learning First Alliance (LFA) to celebrate Public Schools Week, a time to show the strength—and potential—of our nation’s public schools and our students’ futures. This year, Public Schools Week will be held Feb. 26-March 1.

As in previous years, Public Schools Week is part of a larger campaign—#HerefortheKids. The #HerefortheKids campaign brings together families, educators and community members to shine a light on local public schools and tell the stories of the amazingly positive things happening in classrooms and school buildings nationwide.

As a member of the LFA, NSPRA invites our members and their school districts and organizations to help celebrate Public Schools Week 2024. Access the following tools for social media graphics, sample messaging and more.

In addition to helping your district celebrate the week, make plans to tune in and participate in the following events planned for educators and district leaders:

Webinar: Current Challenges - How Schools are Responding
Tuesday, Feb. 27, 4-5:30 p.m. ET
Tune in to hear education leaders representing AASA, The School Superintendents Association, the American School Counselor Association, Learning Forward, National PTA, American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education and the Consortium for School Networking discuss today's current educational landscape.

#PSW24 X/Twitter Chat - Engaging Your Community 
Wednesday, Feb. 28, 7-7:45 p.m. ET
