NSPRA offers the following five strategies for school public relations professionals who want to prepare for communications during challenging times.
National Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15 - Oct. 15, honors the cultures and contributions of Americans who identify as Hispanic or Latino/Latina/Latinx. In 2021, NSPRA social media channels shared content that paid tribute to the generations of Hispanic and Latino Americans, past and present, who have positively influenced and enriched the field of public relations, this association and the nation during the month. NSPRA members were invited to join the celebration by submitting examples of how their school district or organization celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month.
During its annual meeting at the NSPRA 2021 National Seminar in July, the NSPRA Executive Board affirmed by acclamation three new members.
As we head into a new school year, there are also some changes ahead for NSPRA members. As part of our strategic planning process earlier this year, we listened to our members about what they wanted from NSPRA. We heard you loud and clear: fewer emails, more compelling content and free PR Power Hours for members.
