K12PRChat Scholarship

The deadline to apply for all scholarships was Monday, Feb. 9. Applicants will be notified of their selection status by April. Applicants may register for the NSPRA 2026 National Seminar before selection notification. If selected for a scholarship, recipients will be refunded for registration fees as applicable to their award.

Two scholarships are available.

The K12PRChat Scholarship is administered by the Foundation and made possible by proceeds of Seminar Road2NSPRA T-Shirt sales each year. It is for individuals who engage in the monthly K12PRChat sessions on Zoom.

The $1,000 scholarship covers:

The cost of a registration to the NSPRA National Seminar and
Reimbursement for additional expenses related to Seminar travel, lodging and meals. (Reimbursement will be based on submission of receipts and does not apply to alcoholic beverages.)

To be eligible for application, candidates must:

Have attended one or more K12PRChat sessions on Zoom in the last year; and
Be employed in a full-time professional school public relations position or have significant responsibility for managing communications for a school system or education agency/association.
