About NSPRA
Alyssa Teribury is NSPRA’s Communication Research Manager, where she leads and supports a range of research-driven initiatives, including communication audits, SCOPE Surveys, data reports and white papers. She helps school leaders turn complex information into clear, actionable insights that strengthen communication systems and build stakeholder trust.
Alyssa joined NSPRA in 2023 after more than a decade working in school public relations across New York state. At the Capital Region BOCES Engagement and Development Division, she served in roles supporting both suburban and rural districts—advancing strategic communication, leading research projects, managing website redesigns, developing marketing campaigns and supporting internal communication initiatives. As an assistant manager, she also helped guide team operations and contributed to the division’s growth and service development.
Her work in school PR earned recognition from international and state educational associations, including NSPRA and the New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA).
She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and journalism.
