Frequently Asked Questions

An audit is a comprehensive, independent review of your district’s communication ecosystem—examining how information flows across departments, schools, and stakeholder groups, both internally and externally. It helps identify strengths, gaps and opportunities for improvement and provides strategic recommendations based on NSPRA best practices.

SCOPE is NSPRA’s stakeholder perception survey. It’s customizable, research-based and includes national comparison data. Results provide powerful insight into how families, staff, students and the community perceive your communication.

Most audits take 5-6 months from start to final report. Surveys typically take 10 weeks from setup to delivery of results. We work with your schedule to ensure minimal disruption and maximum impact.

Audit and survey results are commonly used to:
  • Guide strategic communication planning
  • Address internal communication challenges
  • Support leadership transitions or superintendent evaluations
  • Refocus messaging and branding
  • Inform budget or staffing requests

NSPRA’s audit and survey services are led by experienced, credentialed communication professionals with deep education communication knowledge. You’ll be assigned a dedicated team who understands your goals, provides practical recommendations and supports you throughout the process.
