Speaker Hub

To help you prepare to deliver a standout learning session at the National Seminar, NSPRA is offering customizable graphics for social media promotions, a Seminar-themed presentation slides template and optional coaching sessions for first-time presenters (or returning presenters!) who'd like a little extra preparation.

Read on for these resources and an important checklist of to-do's for speakers.

Speaker To-Do's CheckList

Be sure you have completed these items by:

  • TODAY —
    • Review the NSPRA Seminar Presenter Commitment statement that you had to read and accept before submitting your session proposal.
    • Review your accepted session details as they appear to attendees. Minor updates can be made to your session title and description but only to improve clarity for Seminar attendees; significant changes are subject to review and approval by NSPRA. You may also update your speaker photo and bio.

If desired, follow these steps to make updates
       yourself:
      1. Visit https://www.nspra.org/award-apply and log in.
      2. After logging in, look at the left navigation menu under “My Applications” and click on “Needs Attention.” (Note: This will only appear for the individual listed as the primary presenter on your session. Co-presenters will not see it.)
      3. Next, look for your Seminar session title and click the blue "open" beside it.
        • On the first screen that opens, scroll down to make updates only to the fields "Session Title" and "Session Description." Then click "save and next."
        • On the second screen that opens, scroll down to make updates only to the fields "Biography" and "Headshot Photo." Then click "save and finalize."

  • JUNE 1 - 30 —
    • The portal to upload your pre-recorded video and any handouts/tip sheets will be open from June 1-30.
    • Upload a pre-recorded video of your presentation as an MP4 file for on-demand viewing after the Seminar by registered attendees. During the Seminar, attendees must often choose between multiple great in-person sessions to attend. That is why we ask all presenters to pre-record a video of themselves delivering their presentation and then we make those videos available after the conference.
      • In your recording, present as if someone were watching your live session virtually and be sure to share your slides. Do not use the video to promote your live session at the Seminar; your pre-recorded video is meant for a Seminar attendee who can't make it to your session in person.
      • Skill Session videos should be at least 30 minutes but no more than 60 minutes.
      • Gold Mine Roundtable videos should be at least 10 minutes but no more than 20 minutes.
      • Do not share your video elsewhere; in your signed presenter commitment, you granted NSPRA the exclusive right to make that recording available for on-demand viewing after the Seminar.
    • Upload any handouts/tip sheets/slides you would like in-person attendees to have access to during your session as PDF files (max size 25 MB). A tip sheet is required for all Gold Mine Roundtable sessions.

  • BY JULY 14 —
    • Register for the Seminar. Exclusively, accepted speakers are eligible to register at the early bird registration rate (that ends in April) whenever they register, even in May, June or July.

  • ON July 20–22 —
    • In each session room, NSPRA will provide a PC laptop (new in 2026!), a LCD projector, a screen and a wired microphone. As a presenter, bring the following items with you to the Seminar:
      • Your presentation on a USB flash drive/thumb drive or other portable storage drive. (Note: Do not rely on accessing your presentation in your session room via Wi-Fi as it may be slow or unreliable during high usage by attendees.)
      • Wireless presentation remote if desired

Customizable Social Media Graphics

NSPRA has developed social media graphics to help you promote your session at the Seminar.

  1. Access the templates in Canva and insert your session details:  1200x1200    1080x1350
  2. Save the images to your computer and post to social media, inviting colleagues and Seminar attendees to attend your session.
  3. Don’t forget to use the hashtags #NSPRA2026 and #ROAD2NSPRA and tag NSPRA in your posts!

If you are unable to use Canva and need the templates in an alternate format, please email editorial@nspra.org.

Coaching for Presenters

Want a quick confidence boost before you step on stage? Take advantage of this valuable, optional opportunity particularly if you are a first-time presenter. Schedule a meeting to review your slide deck with NSPRA Manager of Professional Development and Member Engagement Melissa McConnell and get feedback on your slides or session flow; presenters who’ve taken advantage of these sessions have seen stronger evaluations and smoother delivery. It’s a simple way to refine your message and ensure attendees walk away with clear, practical takeaways they can implement with ease.
