Unrest and fear caused by recent federal immigration enforcement actions have impacted many school communities and the work of school communicators to support their students, families and staff. NSPRA’s Immigration Enforcement Actions in School Communities members-only resource page in the Crisis and Safety Communications section of the Samples and Resources area of the NSPRA website is regularly updated with sample district messaging and guidance, research, articles and resources to support school communication professionals navigating a volatile and emotionally charged moment in education.

In addition, NSPRA is hosting a three-part K12PRChat series, When Community Fear Collides With Schools: Leading Through Volatile Moments to help support school communicators on communicating stability when things feel uncertain.
