Have you been working in school communications for four years or less? Need guidance on what should take priority in your day-to-day work? Looking for support and advice on school communication best practices?
If any of your answers are “yes,” then the NSPRA Academy New Professionals track is for you!
Over the 2024-2025 school year, participants will work with the course facilitator, NSPRA's Manager of Professional Development and Member Engagement Melissa McConnell to understand the role of communications in a school district, including education-specific learning, building a library of resources, best practices for daily communications as well as in crisis, creating a contingency plan for others in their absence, and more. Each module will have current school communications professionals and/or superintendents as co-hosts to lead discussions, share best practices and answer questions.
