Are you ready to learn how to achieve your communication goals more effectively? Have you been putting off developing a strategic communication plan for your school district or agency? Ready to take your professional learning to the next level?

If any of your answers are “yes,” then the NSPRA Academy Mid-Career track is for you!

Over the 2024-2025 school year, up to 40 participants will learn about seven areas of strategic importance. Leading the conversation and learning is Kenon Brown, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Alabama. In addition to Dr. Brown's leadership, the final hour of each module will have guest speakers lead a conversation and/or presentation focused on a special communications topic.

NSPRA Academy Mid-Career Track

Designed for practitioners with 4 - 14 years experience in school communications. Participants will learn how to:

- Determine strategies for effectively conducting secondary and primary research to assess your organization’s situation.

- Identify metrics to set measurable, realistic objectives for strategic communication plans.

- Understand the complexities of today's communication landscape to determine media strategies and tactics for communication and engagement efforts.

- Create budgets and timetables to help better communicate the need and importance of communication initiatives to decision-makers.

...and much more!
