When school communicators and superintendents work together, magic can happen. That's why the National School Public Relations Association and AASA, the School Superintendents Association are proud to offer the highly-acclaimed Leadership in School Communication (LISC) program. Module 1 of the program for 2024 takes place in-Person at the AASA National Conference in San Diego.
Module Description: Community divides seem to be growing more frequent and intense around book bans, transgender policies and DEI initiatives. How can you bridge those divides in authentic ways to build back trust and get people to gain a better understanding of each other’s viewpoints? You will learn strategies to structure those conversations and turn down the heat on polarizing issues.
