Module 2: Wednesday, March 31, 2027 (2 - 3:30 p.m. ET, Virtual): Editing Short Form and Social Video

Editing is often where video workflows become overwhelming or time-consuming. This module focuses on practical editing approaches that help school communicators create polished, engaging content efficiently using accessible editing tools and platforms. Through guided build-along activities and live editing demonstrations, participants will actively work through editing workflows designed for short-form and social-first district communication. Participants will explore how pacing, sequencing, captions, graphics, audio, and formatting decisions affect audience attention, clarity, and engagement across platforms.
