Seminar Scholarships for Superintendents

NSPRA offers a limited number of scholarships for superintendents to attend the 2020 National Seminar in St. Louis, Missouri.

NSPRA’s Communication Accountability Program (CAP) research found that leading superintendents believe effective communication is a critical component in helping them improve their districts, increase student achievement, and create a positive culture in their schools. In recognition of the important communication leadership role of superintendents, NSPRA offers a limited number of scholarships for superintendents who are new to the NSPRA National Seminar or who have not attended in the past three years. These scholarships cover the cost of registration to the National Seminar.

Eligible superintendents:
1. Must be currently employed as a superintendent of schools or similar education agency (i.e., BOCES, IU, etc.). Preference will be given to those with less than five years of experience as a superintendent.
2. Have never attended an NSPRA National Seminar or have not attended in the past three years.
3. May or may not have a communications/public relations professional on staff. If the candidate’s district/agency has a communications professional who has never attended an NSPRA National Seminar, a special discount of $100 will be applied to the registration for that individual.

Apply; The deadline was April 11, 2020. Recipients will be selected by April 30.
