NSPRA Supports a Complete Count in U.S. 2020 Census

At its meeting in March 2020, the NSPRA Executive Board adopted a resolution in support of a complete count in the U.S. 2020 Census. The resolution acknowledges that the Census has critical implications for public schools, students, families and communities.

  • Inform its members about the critical importance of a complete count and of activities, processes and the timeline for the 2020 Census;
  • Provide guidance and resources to assist members in promoting the 2020 Census within their own communities to ensure a complete count;
  • And formally recognize that every child and adult in the United States counts.

NSPRA and association leaders have taken several steps to support a complete count in the U.S. 2020 Census, including providing members with guidance and resources, promoting awareness in member publications and taking a position on the Census through the recent board resolution.
