Chapter Officer Elections in 2019:
Are Your Contacts Up to Date?

Each year chapters are asked to submit their chapter officer election results to NSPRA. That information is used to create distribution lists for NSPRA communications and to upate the online directory of chapter officers. Check the directory to be sure your chapter officers' contact information is up to date, and then email any updates to to help ensure your officers don't miss out on any important association news.

Congratulations to all of the new and returning chapter officers in 2019-20!

Guidance for Revising Chapter Bylaws

If your chapter is considering a revision to its bylaws this year, please keep in mind this guidance on the process:

  • Step 1 - Chapter officers draft the proposed bylaws changes and share them with NSPRA ( for review and feedback to be sure the changes don't violate national policy.
  • Step 2 - NSPRA staff present the chapter's final proposed changes to the NSPRA Executive Board for approval at its next scheduled meeting.
  • Step 3 - Once the NSPRA Executive Board has approved the proposed changes, NSPRA will notify the chapter so it can proceed with a vote for approval by its full chapter membership.

Review the chapter policies posted on the Chapter Leader Resources webpage to learn more.
