NSPRA The Leading Edge Updates for NSPRA Chapter Leaders banner

Chapter Program Cancellations Survey: What Support Do You Need?

As the COVID-19 crisis has shuttered schools and businesses, multiple NSPRA chapters have had to postpone or cancel their annual conferences and other in-person spring professional development programs. NSPRA would like to provide chapter leaders with an opportunity to share and learn from their collective experiences at this difficult time.
To assist NSPRA in developing useful supports, all chapters are invited to complete a Chapter Program Cancellations Survey by Wednesday, April 1

NSPRA Issues Statement on
2020 National Seminar

NSPRA recently released a statement that the NSPRA National Seminar currently remains scheduled to take place as planned on July 12-15, 2020, in St. Louis, Missouri. NSPRA’s leadership is monitoring the coronavirus situation carefully, consulting the latest federal and state guidelines, and working with the St. Louis Union Station Hotel to ensure the health of Seminar participants. If the currently scheduled plans are affected by the pandemic crisis, NSPRA will email all registered attendees and post notices on the NSPRA Seminar website and registration page.

At the Seminar, chapter officers are invited to attend the annual Leaders' Meeting on Sunday, July 12, from 8-11:45 a.m. New this year, NSPRA leaders will be framing the chapter sharing portion of the meeting around a book study discussion of The End of Membership As We Know It by Sarah L. Sladex. Last week, NSPRA mailed a copy of the book to all chapter presidents.
