Public Schools USD 490 received the 2021 APR Scholarship.  She was chosen out of a competitive pool of over 40 applications. Kimberly Koop

"I would like to pursue my APR because I feel it is the next step in bettering myself as a public relations professional by examining my work more thoroughly and getting peer feedback on where I may need to shore up my own practices," said Koop on why she was applying for the scholarship. "Once I've committed to something, I see it through to the end. Once I know whether I will be able to afford to pursue my APR, I would set up a timeline and be sure to mark the milestone task deadlines in my calendar in order to make sure I'm keeping a pace that would allow me to complete it within the 12 months."

The APR Scholarship is valued at up to $1,000.

Koop will receive:
