NSPRA is working closely with New Orleans tourism officials and the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, as well as following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to promote healthy behaviors in public gatherings. In addition to following local COVID-19 guidelines, NSPRA will be implementing several strategies for the in-person event to maintain healthy operations.

Seminar Safety Measures

NSPRA will be taking the following measures to promote the health and safety of Seminar attendees:

  • Collaborating with the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel to follow local safety protocols for room set-ups, meeting room capacities, and food and beverage service.
  • Ensuring limited opportunities for both staff and attendees to share objects.
  • Supporting the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel's rigorous schedule for increased cleaning and disinfection
  • Communicating regularly with our attendees, sponsors and partners regarding COVID-19 safety measures.

NSPRA asks all in-person Seminar attendees, including registrants, sponsors, exhibitors and staff to:

  • Wear a mask or other appropriate face covering while in public, if not fully vaccinated.
  • Wash hands often.
  • If you start to feel sick or to display COVID-19 symptoms, remain in your hotel room and notify the NSPRA office administrative assistant, Marian Ceribo, at mceribo@nspra.org.
