COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for Seminar

Crossroad for Innovation and Transformation NSPRA 2022 National Seminar logo

NSPRA is closely monitoring COVID-19 infection rates in the Chicago area. The safety protocols for the in-person Seminar will align with the recommendations of the city and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the time of the Seminar. NSPRA will clearly communicate those safety protocols, as well as any updates or changes, to registrants as details become available. In addition to following local COVID-19 guidelines, NSPRA will be implementing several strategies for the in-person event to maintain healthy operations.

Seminar Safety Measures

NSPRA will be taking the following measures to promote the health and safety of Seminar attendees:

  • Collaborating with the Sheraton Grand Chicago Hotel to follow local safety protocols for room set-ups, meeting room capacities, and food and beverage service.
  • Ensuring limited opportunities for both staff and attendees to share objects.
  • Supporting the Sheraton Grand Chicago Hotel's "Commitment to Clean," as a Marriott Bonvoy property.
  • Communicating regularly with our attendees, sponsors and partners regarding COVID-19 safety measures.

NSPRA asks all in-person Seminar attendees, including registrants, sponsors, exhibitors and staff to:

  • Follow local guidance regarding use of masks in public spaces.
  • Wash hands often.
  • If you start to display COVID-19 symptoms, remain in your hotel room and notify the NSPRA office at
