NSPRA Bylaws Amendment Vote Opens May 21 - June 11

Last month, the National School Public Relations Association announced that an amendment to the current mission statement in its bylaws would be put up for a vote in May. All eligible voting members — those holding a current professional-level membership in NSPRA — were sent an email from eBallot (noreply@eballot.com) on Friday, May 21, with a link to cast their votes.

The NSPRA Executive Board developed the new mission statement as part of its comprehensive strategic planning process. Following is the language that members can expect to find on the digital ballot:

  • Shall the mission of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) be changed to the following?

"NSPRA is the leader in developing professionals to communicate strategically, build trust and foster positive relationships in support of their school communities."

Eligible voting members who receive the email from eBallot can simply click on the provided link to access their digital ballots. Use the email address at which your eBallot message is received and the secure password provided in that message to access your unique ballot. All votes will be kept anonymous.

Ballots must be cast by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, June 11, 2021.
