We are delighted that you will be joining us and your colleagues from around North America June 28 – July 1 at The Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, California. We are committed to making your investment a rewarding professional experience.

To help you prepare and ensure that you get the most out of your NSPRA 2009 Seminar experience, we encourage you to take a moment to review the following helpful materials:

Hotel information – Make reservations now to take advantage of NSPRA’s discounted Seminar rates at The Westin St. Francis. To learn more about the hotel and to make reservations, go to http://www.nspra.org/hotel_2009seminar. Transportation from airport to hotel – Three airports serve the San Francisco area. The closest is San Francisco International Airport. For taxi service, follow the signs in the terminal for Ground Transportation., then follow the signs for TAXIS.

The fare for taxi service between the airport and the St. Francis Hotel is approximately $45 and the travel time is approximately 30 minutes. Both are dependent on traffic, time of day and day of the week. Super Shuttle service is also available. Follow the signs for DOOR TO DOOR SHUTTLES from the terminal to the 2nd level, which is one level up from baggage claim. Proceed to the middle islands where the blue shuttles with yellow writing are waiting. The cost of the shuttle is $17.00 per person and takes approximately 45 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel.

One-on-one expert counseling – Sign up for our popular Counselors on Call program and meet with a veteran PR pro about an issue or problem your district is dealing with now. Tuesday evening social – Get ready to hit the streets of San Francisco and “Experience The City” via a guided trolley bus tour. Graduate semester extension credit – If you are looking to receive some extension credits for attending the Seminar, you can do so through the University of San Diego. To find out how to register, go to http://www.nspra.org/program_2009extracredit.

Online Seminar Bulletin Board
For the first time ever, NSPRA is providing an Online Seminar Bulletin Board for Seminar registrants, so you can connect online. Once there, you can look for a roommate to share hotel expenses or post ways you’ve found to save on travel or other expenses related to your Seminar attendance.
