About Shannon

Shannon joined the NSPRA family in 2007. Bringing over 6 years administrative experience to the table, she oversees the Awards Program, manages the office and supports the NSPRA staff with the day to day. Shannon prides herself on her lightning fast typing skills and strong problem solving abilities. 

Shannon attended Bridgwater College in Virginia, receiving a BA in Music. With an education in Vocal Perfomance, she occasionally performs and teaches voice and piano lessons. She lists one of her greatest accomplishments as singing our National Anthem for the commissioning of the USS Bulkeley (DDG 84) in honor of her grandfather, VADM John D. Bulkeley. 

When Shannon has spare time, she enjoys reading, singing, writing music, and spending time with her husband and cat.
