Knowledge CommunitiesCommunities of PracticeThrough NSPRA's e-Knowledge portal web site, NSPRA can create online "communities of practice" (CoP) to facilitate communication. Communites may be "private" so that only individuals we specify can access it, and they can be public and open to anyone interested in the topic. For more information, see details here. Community of practice members can upload documents and audio files to share, email each other, participate in forum discussions, and hold on-line chats at specified times. This year, NSPRA is using communities of practice to faciliate some of the Association's committee work. In addition, NSPRA is establishing limited-time private communities of practice for each PR Power Hour this year to extend the discussions and provide an avenue for participants to share additional materials with one another, if available. If you have a suggestion for a public or private community of practice, please email Carol Mowen at cmowen [at] nspra [dot] org.
