NSPRA 35 Under 35

Congratulations to the 2012 NSPRA 35 under 35 Professionals who have been nominated by their NSPRA peers and selected as this year’s young professionals, as they have demonstrated leadership and excellence in their school public relations careers. Each recipient will be highlighted in an NSPRA newsletter throughout this school year and the nomination process will begin again in the fall of 2013.

Certificates for this year’s selectees will be distributed at the NSPRA Annual meeting in San Diego in July, 2013. All 35 will also be asked to participate in periodic surveys about upcoming NSPRA products and services in the year ahead.

About Proving the Value of School Communication...

An updated NSPRA resource is now available to help members, superintendents, board members and other school leaders build the case for an effective two-way authentic communication program for our schools.

NSPRA’s Communication Accountability Program (CAP) strives to document the value of a total school district communication effort. You will find research, opinion surveys, and commentary on the critical need for investing in school communication.

The resource is open to everyone and will continue to be updated as new information becomes available. Go to nspra.org/cap to begin building a better understanding on the multiple contributions made by effective communication.

Three NSPRA Blogs

NSPRA: Social School Public Relations explores the use of social media to meet school communications goals. It is posted weekly by a team of member bloggers who share their expertise and experience with social media tools. Sign up for email updates on the blog homepage.

Connecting Communities, NSPRA’s newest blog, is designed to facilitate dialogue, assist and support NSPRA members in communicating with and authentically engaging diverse stakeholders. It also offers resources, ideas and best practices that will accelerate the work of school districts in closing the achievement and opportunity gaps.
